Getting a Panic attack or a series of anxiety attacks will make you less fun to be around.
But remember when we go through a downhill there will always be an uphill. There is also a Topsy Turvy-ish version or perspective of this thought mentioned above.
There is a small backstory to that.
Whenever I get angry my Amma reminds me that a person who has conquered even a mountain should always come back down to receive his prize. During that anger-relieving session, the explanation I can think of for this quote that Amma says is that “A person should always be humble no matter how powerful or how destructive he is”.
The explanation I can think of for it when I am calmer or saner is that “A person who has reached the peak of his life at that particular time should lower himself to the level of others to get acknowledged for what he has done and might even have to explain it thoroughly in their standard”. Because everyone single person on this planet has a different wavelength for their peaks and lows.
I am pretty sure I lost you somewhere on the way. I will explain it with an example. Imagine an experienced adult explaining his thoughts and life and achievements and all that is in his head to a toddler.
Lowering down to someone’s level doesn't make one less worthy or less powerful.
Being humble is a quality that many possess but tend to forget that they have it in them when they ‘feel’ like they are at the top of the world.
Noticed how I used the phrase ‘feel like they are at the top of the world” because achievements cannot be compared and even minute ones make us lose our humility at times.
Both taking a first step and riding a bike (literally and figuratively) are achievements. Incomparable and Immeasurable.
I am sure that I am very far away from where I started and must have made and cleared a lot of confusion on the way.
Let me remind you what my first two sentences were-
Getting a Panic attack or a series of anxiety attacks will make you less fun to be around.
Notice how after every session of downhills you go through, There is a period of productivity that follows. I recently found out from a fellow writer that it is pretty common among other human beings with emotions too.
We might need a day or two in bed, some good food, or some quality time.
We will always bounce back.
